Go from Drab to Fab in minutes!
My daughter is 13 months old. 3 months ago she got her DOC Band from Cranial Technologies. This morning, she had her "Exit" appointment and is finally done with it. The experience wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. One thing that made it seem not so daunting was decorating her band. I had seen many different pictures on the CTI website as well as in the annual calendar that they put out and while they were all very cute, I wanted something super simple, paint free but most of all CHEAP! I have no idea what some people pay to have their baby's band decorated the way they do, all I know is that I had to find something different. I recently became a distributor for a vinyl company and thought I would give vinyl a shot. I went as simple as possible and did polka dots. I also did my daughters name. Here are her before and after decorating pictures.

What I LOVE about decorating with vinyl is:
AFTER
*PAINT FREE. Some of the pictures that I saw of kiddos with painted bands, the paint was chipping. I didn't know how safe that was or how well my OCD tendencies would deal with that.
*SIMPLE. Applying vinyl is super simple and clean. No messes, almost as easy as just putting stickers on.
*LASTS. Depending on what decals you choose, the vinyl can last pretty much forever. Some decals that are skinnier may peel. Others, like the polka dots I did for my daughter, last forever. I never changed the dots on my daughters band the whole time she wore it.
*INTERCHANGEABLE. You can switch the decals for new ones whenever you want. It is just just as easy to remove the decals as it is to put them on. Just peel it off with your fingernails or tweezers. It comes right off and doesn't leave a sticky residue. So you can switch your child's look as often as you would like to.
*CHEAP. You can decorate the whole band for less than $10.
I have pre-designed decals that you can choose from, or if you have an idea that you would like to try, EMAIL ME and I will let you know if I think we can do it.
The possibilities are endless! People stare...its inevitable. (You'd be surprised some of the things people said while my daughter was wearing her band.) So why not give them something fun to look at, something that will be a conversation starter rather than a reason to gawk.
